Russ' Last Stop Restaurant, 25 miles from The Bridge on the Arizona side, put on
an amazing Car Nutz Breakfast Buffet - tables beautifully set-up with tasty eggs & bacon & bisquits & gravy &
pastries & fruit. A generous raffle made 3 Car Nutz a little richer. And even a DJ with oldies music kept
us restless Car Nutz entertained. And if it wasn't for them directing the parking and lining us up for the Parade and
sending us off so organized, it would have been one pile of confused classics. Thank you Russ and all your staff for
your hospitality and for treating us so very special !!!
We had a roped-off parking area at the Hacienda Casino with a beautiful view of
Lake Mead -- and their half-price-for-Car-Nutz luncheon buffet was very delicious and well-attended...and their reasonable
room rates were so much appreciated. Thank you, Marla, for cooperating with us Car Nutz and helping to make our day
so special!
The RailRoad Pass Casino's Tail-Gate Party with the DJ and the huge roped-off parking
area was also so very much appreciated, quite obvious from all the classics that were parked there and all the Car Nutz meeting
and greeting. And their free commemorative etched Parade of Classics key chain is a very pretty keepsake. And
their special room rates were also so much appreciated. Thank you, Curt, for welcoming us Car Nutz and making our day
special.
And thanks to all you Car Nutz for participating in this historic Parade of Classics.
It was neat that we met so many new Car Nutz and admired so many new and different classics - all friendly folks and beautiful
cars! And hats-off to the Craigs who came all the way from Oklahoma in their '60 Vette just for our Parade of Classics.
And our sympathies to Paul and his Model A's broken drive shaft...but at least it broke in the RailRoad Pass' parking
lot and not out in the middle of no-where.
The Parade of Classics was fun to organize, fun to do, and I'm so
proud that it was such a great success! What shall we plan to for next year?
